Sales 101: How well are you managing the Canadian territory?

John manages the Eastern USA and Canada.  John has difficulty in setting priorities and managing his Canadian territory.  How much time does John have to learn about his Canadian territory?

He is overwhelmed that Canada has 6 time zones, a physical footprint larger than the USA, that 30% of the population lives in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, and that there are 2300 miles between 2 of those cities. 

John has difficulty in teeing up appointments that make sense to his schedule, not to mention his discomfort in getting around Montreal with no knowledge of French.
